Dragon Fruit White, Yellow, Red

Freshway sources Dragon fruit from four different countries, yet maintaining the highest quality with food safety certifications. Our biggest strength is in Ecuador, where we are vertically integrated. May describe its taste as a slightly sweet cross between a kiwi and a pear.  Also, it is a low-calorie fruit that is high in fiber providing several vitamins and minerals.

This fruit may look exotic, but its flavors are similar to other fruits. 

Dragon Fruit Varieties:

• Yellow Dragon Fruit

Endemic from the Amazon, the Yellow Dragon fruit is the sweetest variety of the dragon fruit family. Our sourcing program comes from three different regions in Ecuador in order to extend our supply window during the year. Freshway’s local team works directly with our selected group of farmers in order to ensure that we pack the sweetest and highest quality fruit consistently.

• White Dragon Fruit:

This is the most popular variety in the market.  Our company sources white dragon fruit from Central America (Mexico and Nicaragua), South America (Ecuador), and the US (Florida) in order to ensure year-round supply. We are experts in this product and we are capable of putting together year-round program sales for our clients.  

• Red Dragon Fruit:

This is the second sweetest variety of Dragon Fruit.  We source them mainly from Central America, Asia, and South Florida.

• Rambutan

Our program is mainly sourced out of Central America (Guatemala, and Honduras). We work with growers that have crops in different regions of each country in order to extend the production window. We offer this product in bulk pack as well as in clamshell presentation. It is a delicious fruit with a similar flavor to a lychee.
